David James


David has been actively involved in the QRWA water quality programs and over 20 years as leader of river cleanup efforts for the Quinnipiac River. These cleanup efforts have brought about a 50% improvement in the river.

David has served on the QRWA board of directors for over a decade advocating for the river, submitting testimony on legislative issues and works closely with city and town officials to improve municipal regulations that effect the watershed.

David served on the Meriden Liner Trail Advisory Committee as a liaison for the QRWA, was Chairperson for Source to Sound Clean Up, and committee member for the Quinnipiac Watershed Base Plan Implementation Project.
